Paige Bueckers to receive unprecedented honor after going first overall in WNBA Draft
Paige Bueckers will have her hometown of Hopkins, Minnesota renamed to Paige Buckers, Minnesota for one day in an unprecedented move. The day to honor Bueckers will be May 16, when she makes her WNBA debut for the Dallas Wings against the Minnesota Lynx. The closest WNBA franchise to Bueckers hometown will be traveling to the Metroplex to face the Wings, who selected the hometown hero first overall in this month's league draft.
