There are plenty of horse races, but there's only one Kentucky Derby. The event was founded in 1875, and since that time, the Kentucky Derby has grown to become the most popular horse racing event in America, as well as the first leg of the Triple Crown, which will continue later this year with the Preakness Stakes and the Belmont Stakes. This year's race will be the 151st running of the Kentucky Derby, and interest remains so high that it's being covered on network TV, cable and on a streaming service!
