UFC Edmonton live results, highlights, play-by-play | Malott vs. Buckley

Tim Edwards Sat, October 17, 2026 at 10:21 PM UTC · 4 min read About Our Ads Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is live TONIGHT (Sat., Oct. 17, 2026) with UFC Edmonton , streaming live online via Paramount+ . The event happens inside Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Welterweights serve as the main attraction tonight with Joaquin Buckley vs. Mike Malott .

UFC has poured its entire Canadian roster into Edmonton's Rogers Place for this one. The main event fighter is, predictably, Mike Malott — who is the go-to guy in Canadian mixed martial arts (MMA) right now. He has a chance to crack the Top 15 if he can beat Joaquin Buckley ( who is currently mired in a two-fight losing skid ).

The co-main event is an important fight in the women's Bantamweight division ( full breakdown here ). Erin Blanchfield might earn a title shot at Natalia Silva if she can topple Jasmine Jasudavicius on enemy soil. She's riding a long win streak and might have been disappointed to see Wang Cong get called up for that vacant title scrap earlier in the month.

The rest of UFC Edmonton's main card leaves much to be desired. It's mostly fighters on losing streaks or with very few reps with the company. Those fights include Kyle Nelson vs. Cristian Perez , Marc-Andre Barriault vs. Kyle Daukaus , Louis Joirdan vs. Timmy Cuamba and Mandel Nallo vs. Nate Landwehr .

Alberta's Tanner Boser is in the featured "Prelim." He fights Jhonata Diniz . Kaitlyn Cerminera returns after a four-year absence to compete on this card. The former title challenger has newcomer Mackenzie Stiller .

Chad Anheliger vs. Steven Koslow: These two had six years of inactivity between them here. Anheliger was also closing in on 40 years old and it showed. Koslow's age, size and grappling advantage combination was just too high a mountain for Anheliger to climb. Koslow would eventually turn all his top position into a rear naked choke finish.

Official decision: Steven Koslow def. Chad Anheliger by submission (rear naked choke), round 3 (4:31)

Melissa Croden vs. Chelsea Chandler: Chandler was getting lit up the entire fight. Croden then tripped Chandler in the clinch and Chandler was able to scramble for an arm. She ended up getting a deep kimura and from that she made Croden's arm snap. Two kimura's in a row and two losses for Canada in a row, too (boo!).

Official decision: Chelsea Chandler def. Melissa Croden by submission (kimura), round 1 (4:52)

Su Young You vs. Cody Shovancek: That was a smothering performance from You. He spent most of the fight showing off his grappling, from top position, his back and from back mount. And it wasn't boring either. it was all very technical and he was looking for ways to damage and submit Shovancek. The end came with a brutal mounted kimura.

Official decision: Su Young You def. Cody Shovancek by submission (kimura), round 3 (4:19)
