An Australian MP has lashed out at a information service for doctoring a picture of her which appeared on a bulletin.

Georgie Purcell, 31, shared a picture posted by the 9 Information network alongside the unique photograph to point out the way it had been modified.

She was showing on the programme to criticise Victoria premier Jacinta Allan's choice not to ban duck capturing in the state.

The Animal Justice Celebration MP wrote on X: 'I endured rather a lot yesterday. However having my body and outfit Photoshopped by a media outlet was not on my bingo card.

'Observe the enlarged boobs and outfit to be made extra revealing. Can't think about this occurring to a male MP. What provides?'&

The image posted by 9 Information confirmed Ms Purcell sporting a crop prime revealing her midriff – however the MP identified this could't be real because she had her stomach tattooed 4 years in the past.

She added: 'Scorching tip 9 I've acquired my entire stomach tattooed.'

Director of 9 News Melbourne, Hugh Nailon, stated in a press release: 'I want to sincerely apologise to Georgie Purcell for a graphic error that occurred in last night time's bulletin.

'Our graphics department sourced a web-based image of Georgie to use in our story on duck searching.

'As is widespread apply, the picture was resized to fit our specs. Throughout that process, the automation by Photoshop created a picture that was not in step with the unique.

'This did not meet the high editorial requirements we have now and for that we apologise to Ms Purcell unreservedly.'

Ms Purcell is the youngest lady in any Australian parliament, and can also be the second youngest ever to be elected to Victoria's legislative council.

She is unafraid to name individuals out online, after individuals trolled her for her past job as a stripper and for having tattoos.

The MP spoke about how she was 19 years previous when a picture of her working as a stripper was leaked online, leaving her fearing her goals of a profession in regulation or politics can be ruined.

She took up a number of jobs as a topless waitress, stripper and at a Submit Office to make ends meet while she was learning at university.

Ms Purcell recently told Daily Mail Australia: 'Politics is so vicious and brutal that when you will have political enemies, they'll discover out anything about you.

'All of us have a past and digital footprint and for youthful politicians, it is far more traceable than the typical politician, so after I shared my story I felt the load was lifted off my shoulders.

'After I did it I turned a new individual. I gained self-confidence and because of my past I assumed I might solely be a spectator, not a participant but now two years later I am an elected MP. It has been a whirlwind expertise.'
