That is the crazy second an ambulance explodes right into a fireball just moments after a pensioner was dropped off at house.

The video exhibits a carer checking the ambulance after a passerby observed smoke coming from it in Barton-under-Needwood, Staffordshire, at around 1.45pm on March 14.

David and Marilyn Brinklow have been having a quiet cup of tea when it was all of a sudden interrupted by the huge explosion which engulfed their entrance backyard.

The ambulance exploded with so much drive that the roof flew 50ft up into the air and crashed via David and Marilyn's storage.

Marilyn, 74, stated in shock: 'It was like a Hollywood movie. I endure with my nerves and it didn't do me any good.'

It was only minutes earlier that two carers from the very same ambulance dropped off the 91-year-old aged wheelchair-bound neighbour.

No one was injured in the course of the blaze however the hearth melted the back of the couple's Honda Civic, their front room home windows shattered, and their curtains have been singed.

It was extinguished before it might unfold to some other properties.

'It's horrible to speak about.'

David, 69, stated: 'It went off like a roman candle. I was shocked – it was like a horror present.

'It's unimaginable nobody was killed. Our neighbour was in the& ambulance& a short time earlier than it exploded.'
