Bayern Munich have opened talks over a new contract for England defender Eric Dier. The 31-year old former Spurs centre back has earned praise from coach Vincent Kompany in recent weeks and he is set to be rewarded with an extension to his current deal which expires in the summer. Dier's versatility will prove vital as Bayern fight to progress through to the Champions League semi finals and another Bundesliga title.
