Peter Crouch had to reach deep into his pocket after losing a gentleman's bet with Paddy Power at the Cheltenham Festival on Thursday. The former Premier League and England striker was in attendance for the third day of the Festival, and was happy to put a wager on the Stayers' Hurdle with Paddy Power. Power remained patriotic and backed an Irish horse to win, while Crouch had his choice of the rest of the field, with the loser agreeing to pay for 1,000 pints of Guinness for punters.
