PaddyPower faced a nervous wait on Tuesday after fearing a huge payout worth tens of millions at Cheltenham Festival. More than 96,000 people had backed the four-fold acca, which was priced at 6.23/1, with estimates of up to 250,000 punters joining the surge. On that basis, it was predicted that the bookies would have to dish out gargantuan sums for one of the biggest multiples in Cheltenham history. The accumulator centred on four of the first five races on Tuesday.
