Sometimes, the new must-see comedy shows seem to come out of nowhere. In this week alone, Netflix and Amazon Prime Video have fresh comedies that may get some big laughs. The first is Netflix's Bad Thoughts, which puts comedian Tom Segura into some wild scenarios before he completely changes his persona and goes into the next segment. Prime Video's Overcompensating is a little more conventional as it follows a college student who doesn't quite know how to come out and be comfortable in his own skin as a gay man.
