A Maine mom whose son allegedly murdered his wife and then beat her with a fire poker begged him to stop amid the horrifying violence, according to court documents. Former SpaceX employee Samuel Whittemore, 34, is accused of murdering his yoga-teacher wife Margaux Whittemore, 32, and attempting to kill his mom Dorothy Whittemore, 67. The women were attacked by Whittemore at his mother's home on February 19, according to investigators.
