About Our Ads Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement Former Indiana Fever guard Sydney Colson continues to focus on her work outside the WNBA after being left unsigned for the past season.
Colson played for the Fever in 2025 after signing a one-year, $90,000 contract with the team during the offseason. She appeared in 30 games for Indiana, averaging 2.4 points and 2.0 assists in 13.5 minutes per game.
Unfortunately, Colson's season ended prematurely after she tore her ACL during a game against the Phoenix Mercury on Aug. 7, 2025.
The WNBA veteran also expressed frustration with the Fever, revealing on her podcast earlier in the month that the team had promised to re-sign her after her season-ending injury, only to go back on its word.

Although Colson wasn't able to play in the 2026 campaign, she kept herself busy with her "Unsupervised" podcast with her best friend and former teammate Theresa Plaisance.
On Thursday, Colson continued promoting her podcast by sharing a post about its upcoming live show. According to the post, Colson and Plaisance will be in Cleveland on Saturday for a "free live show on Halloween."
The post also noted that the event would focus on "civic engagement" ahead of the midterm elections in November.
While it's unknown if Colson will pursue a return to the WNBA in the 2027 season, it's clear she's making the most of her time away from the court.
Earlier this month, Colson also served as a guest speaker at the Women in the Game conference held at UCLA's Pauley Pavilion. The initiative aimed to educate young women about possible career paths in sports.
