Disney cut transgender storyline from Pixar's animated Win Or Lose series
Disney elicited fan outrage on social media after it was revealed that it had cut out a storyline involving a transgender character from its upcoming Pixar series Win Or Lose. The show, which will be premiering on the Disney+ streaming service on February 19, was set to feature a character that was trans in a later episode of the eight-episode first season. However, some of the dialogue was edited out of that episode to obscure the character's gender identity, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
