On Sunday, March 15, Mathes, 57, postedphotos on Instagramof her wedding celebration with her new husband Chaz, 57. The newlyweds tied the knot at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles on March 8.
"I'm in my Blissed out Bride era!" Mathes wrote in the caption, alongside a photo of herself posing in her wedding dress at the couple's reception. A pair of white platform sneakers could be seen poking out from underneath Mathe's dress.
Chaz,Cher's son with the lateSonny Bono, appeared in another snapshot standing in front of several other guests on the dance floor at the party. Mathes and Chaz were also snapped making their way to the floor together as guests helped Mathes with her long-sleeved lace gown.
Other photos included in the carousel post showed Mathes posing with several wedding guests and her loved ones getting ready for the nuptials earlier in the day.
Mathes later shared avideoon Instagram of her and Chaz's first dance as husband and wife at the party. "Take me back to this moment, please! #firstdance," Mathes captioned the post, also posting the clip on her Instagram Stories set to Frank Sinatra's "The Way You Look Tonight."

The newlyweds March 8 wedding was attended by their friends and family, including Chaz's mother,Cher, 79. The nuptials had a dress code of "Hollywood Glam Formal," according tothe couple's wedding website.
Chaz wrote onInstagramon Friday, March 13, "After knowing each other for 40 years and be in a relationship for 9, Shara and I got married at the Hollywood Roosevelt on Sunday March 8th. @nataliesoferevents."

Mathes and Chaz met as teenagers at Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and started dating in January 2017. Mathes has a 25-year-old son, Cooper, from a previous relationship.
"I first met Shara more than 40 years ago when we were just teenagers," Chaz exclusively told PEOPLE following the wedding. "I think it's safe to say that not many grooms ultimately end up marrying the very first girl they ever kissed so many years later."
"She makes me feel complete knowing she will always be there beside me as partner, my best friend, and the love of my life," he continued. "No matter what life brings us, we will always be safer and stronger together … and we are home."
