Manon Bannerman Speaks Out After Removing KATSEYE from Her Instagram Bio amid Hiatus

Manon Bannermanis giving fans a small but meaningful update amid her ongoing hiatus fromKATSEYE.

The singer recentlyshared a message, reportedly posted to the fan platform Weverse, thanking fans for their continued support during her time away.

"Thank you so much for all the love and support you've been sending my way," Bannerman wrote. "I'm really grateful for the patience and kindness everyone has shown during this time. HxG and I are having positive conversations and I feel supported. I'm happy and I'm healthy. I'll share more soon. Thank you for always being there for me."

Around the same time, fans noticed that Bannerman appeared to update herInstagram bio, removing any reference to KATSEYE. It now just reads: "mademoiselle manzanita."

The update comes as the group gears up for a new release. KATSEYE recently dropped the first teaser for the"Pinky Up" music video, marking their first release since Bannerman announced she would be stepping back from group activities.

AsPEOPLE previously reported, Bannerman's hiatus was first announced on Feb. 20 in a statement shared on the group'sofficial X account.

"Hello. After open and thoughtful conversations together, we are sharing that Manon will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities to focus on her health and wellbeing," the statement read. "We fully support this decision. KATSEYE remains committed to showing up for one another and for the fans who mean everything to us. The group will continue scheduled activities during this time, and we look forward to being together again when the time is right."

The six-member group — which rose to fame following the Netflix competition seriesPop Star Academy: KATSEYE— also includes Daniela Avanzini, Lara Raj, Megan Skiendiel, Sophia Laforteza and Yoonchae.

Since the show's debut in 2024, the group has quickly found success. In January, the membersspoke to PEOPLEafter earning their first two Grammy nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the 2026 Grammy Awards.

"When we found out, we were all in tears, screaming, crying," Raj, 20, said at the time.
