Disturbing the nocturnal animals may end up in jail.

A field from the National Belief was installed in North Cheam, South London, where Ulez protests have raged.

Another with a black bat emblem was seen in Chessington, South West London, close to where digital camera poles have been torn down.

Campaigners hailed the new tactic for "positively contributing to London's biodiversity and ecosystem".

Kingsley Hamilton, of the Motion Towards Unfair Ulez on-line web page, informed The Solar: "A variety of bat bins are being put up throughout London by unknown sources.

"I'm positive whoever is behind it is extremely grateful to TfL for providing the poles to deal with this protected species.

"Sadiq Khan won't need to be seen to be tampering with their houses after claiming to care so much about protecting the setting."

The Met Police recorded 220 stories of stolen cameras and 767 being broken by so-called "blade runners" between April and November final yr.

TfL warned it's an offence to put apparatus on any of its 3,700 cameras implementing the £12.50 day by day cost throughout the Capital.

A spokesperson stated: "We'll guarantee our actions at these websites comply with related laws."
