The scorching season is just around the cornerso close I can almost taste that vanilla-chocolate swirl!and I can't get the image out of my head. So maybe I'm projecting *just* a bit, but I've been seeing a whole lot of 'soft serve' nails popping up on my Instagram feed as of late, from celebrity manicurists to beauty moguls (ahem, Hailey Bieber).

For the last few summers, it's felt like anyone not wearing flip-flops or Adidas Sambas had on mesh or fishnet flatsperiod. They've dominated the warm-weather shoe market, showing up in every city and vacation destination styled with linen pants, poplin skirts, cutoff shorts, and more. Last year, I went to six weddings, and only one of them was in New York where I live. For months, I was gone every other weekend, and I don't think I've ever traveled more in a short span of time in my entire life.
