Chaos engulfed London's Charing Cross after a trespasser jumped on the rail tracks.
Tons of of commuters have been evacuated after the alarm was raised on the station throughout rush hour.
Trains between London Bridge and Charring Cross have been halted, whereas others have been cancelled or diverted.
Footage circulating social media showed a man dressed in all black standing on prime of a railway bridge over the Thames.
Managing director of Southeastern Railway, Steve White, stated: 'The trespasser has been removed from the railway and all strains are open.
'We'll work to restore providers as shortly as potential.'
Crowds of people have been seen outdoors Embankment, King's Cross, Cannon Road, Victoria and multiple others as employees tried to implement a queuing system.
Police rushed to Charing Cross and a number of other vans have been noticed outdoors the station.
By 7pm, Southeastern Railway stated the trespasser had been apprehended, while the facility to the road switched back on.
One rail company steered that main disruption would proceed till 8.15pm.
There were delays on the Overground in addition to the Piccadilly, Victoria, Bakerloo and Central strains on the Tube.
Southeastern stated in a press release just earlier than 8pm: 'Trains are operating between Charing Cross and London Bridge.
'We unfortunately anticipate delays till finish of service because of the quantity of delays we have now across the community.'
