A battle over talking during a ballet performance left a man with a broken eye socket.
The incident erupted during a performance of Swan Lake at the Opera Home in Manchester last Sunday (January 21).
A battle erupted after an viewers member hit another lady on the arm and advised her to be quiet in the course of the efficiency.
The lady's husband confronted the opposite man in the course of the interval, punching him repeatedly in the face.
Police have been referred to as to the venue and a 30-year-old man was arrested.
Businesswoman Heather Marsden, 38, who was shut by, told The Sun: 'The person's glasses exploded. There was blood all over the place. It seemed as if his eye socket was broken.'
A Higher Manchester Police spokesman stated: 'Officers attended the scene on Sunday, January 21, and a 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault.
'He was later launched pending further investigation.'

This isn't the only current case of fights breaking out amongst theatre audiences – two viewers began to fight at a showing of Hamilton at the Palace Theatre in Manchester final November.
A 'mini riot' broke out during a performance of The Bodyguard, also on the Palace Theatre, last April.
Plus, a performance of Les Miserables in London's West Finish was disrupted last October by Just Stop Oil activists.
